Sydney Aquarium, Fish Tank Repairs and Maintenance.

Ongoing acrylic fish tank repairs and maintenance for Sydney Aquarium, diamond-edge polished panel work carried out around live public viewing hours, with zero disruption to visitors.

Brief

What needed solving .

Sydney Aquarium's viewing tanks rely on thick-section acrylic panels under constant saltwater immersion and public load, over time, panels and seals need inspection, repair and occasional replacement to stay within safety compliance.

All works have to happen without disrupting a live public attraction, no closures, no visible disruption to exhibits during opening hours.

Approach

How we solved it .

We carry out panel repairs, re-sealing and diamond-edge polishing on thick-section acrylic, matched to each tank's original specification. Work is scoped and templated on-site, then fabricated at our Yennora workshop before install.

Scheduling runs around aquarium opening hours, after-hours and early-morning works keep every repair invisible to visitors, with the tank back in public view on the same operating day.

Outcome

What shipped .

An ongoing maintenance arrangement, with panels and seals kept within safety compliance and zero public-facing disruption to date. Repairs are scheduled proactively, not just reactively, off the back of regular inspection.
