The difference between cheap and premium .
Finishing is often the difference between a project that looks cheap and one that looks premium. We run flame polishing, diamond polishing, buffing and surface finishing in-house, so every edge arrives glass-clear or satin-soft, exactly as the design calls for.
For acrylic balustrades, museum displays and high-end retail work, our diamond-edge polish is the finish architects and signmakers specify by name. Glass-clear polished edges up to 80 mm thick, produced by diamond-tipped tooling.
Flame polishing is the classic acrylic edge, fast, clean, cosmetic-grade for laser-cut and CNC-routed parts. Pairs well with line-bent work where the bend zone needs to stay glass-clear. Surface finishing covers everything from buffed to satin-matt to diamond-polished surfaces.
Diamond polishing removes about 0.5 mm from each side, so allow for it at cutting stage.

Where this is used .
Architectural balustrade infill, museum-grade display panels, gallery walls, premium retail and any job where the edge will be visible, that's where diamond-edge polishing earns its keep.
For high-volume cosmetic-grade work, POS displays, illuminated letter sets, hospitality fit-outs, flame polishing is fast and clean. We pair it with controlled film handling so finished parts arrive at site without scratches or marks.

Polishing is usually a finishing step on a job we're already doing. If you're sending us cut parts to polish, send the finished part with notes on which edges/surfaces need work. Photos help.
Diamond polishing is slower than flame, allow extra time on architectural and museum work. Worth it for the finish.

Common questions about polishing .
Flame polishing is fast and clean, used for laser-cut and CNC-routed acrylic edges where a cosmetic glass-clear finish is needed. Diamond polishing uses a diamond-tipped tool to produce a near-optical glass-clear edge, suitable for architectural balustrades and museum-grade display work up to 80 mm thick.
Up to 80 mm thick, the standard for architectural balustrade infill and premium gallery display work. Anything thinner is also straightforward; thicker than 80 mm goes case-by-case.
Yes, by request, though the result is more typically a buffed satin or matte finish rather than the glass-clear edge you get on cast acrylic. For the very best polished edge, cast acrylic remains the best material choice.
